I've finally seen There will be blood and it's amazing. I did some quick sketches of the shots that I liked from that film. If you haven't seen it yet, you should, it's a must-see movie. I've been staying home for a couple of days now because I caught a cold, so I started drawing. It feels good to draw random things. I haven't done that in awhile, except for my film.

I'm trying to go to extra life drawing sessions at least once a week and so far so good. My short film is takin' up a lot of my time but it's Ok, I still try to go. I know that in the past that I didn't go to extra life drawing much so I'm trying this year. 4th year so far has been relaxing.

Here are some gestures done with an awesome brush pen and a 10-min pose.

I really need to post more often. Even doodles and scribbles will do. Well anyways, I just finished my internship last week, and I gotta say that I miss everything about it. I miss San Francisco. I miss Lucasfilm. I miss our apartment. The nightlife oh man. Everything. San Francisco is a place for creativity. That's how I would sum it up.

I also just got back from my one day visit to New York. It's awesome. It's busy. I heart NY.

The image is of my best friend Eunice Arbis. Give it up for her for she's doing good for herself.

I almost forgot about my blog. I haven't posted in a while, and I don't really have a good reason for it. I've just been really really lazy, busy working, and busy having fun =). San Francisco is the best place. Believe me.

Aside from working at LucasArts and touring around the city, I've been working on my short film for my final year at Sheridan. The third artwork is just a doodleee. Bye now.

It's been a month since school ended. I must say that I haven't been drawing much since then. That's because I've been animating or at least, I've been 'trying' to animate in maya. Dude, it's hard and confusing. What's really good though is that I'm learning a lot and I will post the animation as soon as I get it done ahah. On top of work though , it might take some time. But right now, here's a piece.

The painting was recently done in ArtRage. I bought it after looking at Armand Serrano's blog (with his latest ArtRage post). Yess...I was inspired. I had to try it out, like he said it's not as tedious as Painter. Although i haven't been digitally painting lately, i thought i do a simple one. It isn't that great but I'm still learning. The second one is a concept sketch of the two hobos and the third is a frame from my last animation.

One of my goals for the summer is to animate and lip sync an existing character. I thought Mushu would do just fine. Mushu is one of the greatest character in mulan, at least I think so. The short sound clip is from Beverly Hills Cop, of course it's Eddie Murphy.

This is real. I was in the bus last night and saw this person. I noticed his shirt. It said " I think he's gay" with an arrow pointing to his right. So i looked beside him and found his girlfriend. It was pointing at his girlfriend! It made me laugh, no, not by myself. I laughed inside while looking at the couple. It was something else. I thought it would be nice to sketch that. And so i did, with a different approach. Just trying out different things.
